Dr. Stephanie Miller

When I was in the 6th grade, I wanted to be exactly like my dad’s best friend, a dentist in the military. Fourteen years later, I made my dream reality when I graduated from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health and commissioned as a Captain in the US Army. The Army took me many places in five years…many I’d never imagined visiting! I met my husband Mike during my graduate residency in Colorado Springs. I spent the next 2 years in Alaska overseeing and providing the dental care for 3500 Soldiers in my Airborne Infantry brigade (and yes, I did jump out of planes!). The last 2 years were spent in Maryland seeing patients full time while managing a satellite clinic and providing the clinic training for the entire staff. The Army taught me a lot, especially patience, resilience, diligence, and attention to detail. While I will miss the peers I met and my amazing patients in the military, I’m very excited to join the team at Wynkoop Dentistry and serve our community. I spend many hours each year taking continuing education classes to expand my skills. One goal of mine is to be a fellow at the Academy of General Dentistry by 2020. The amazing commitment this will take will directly result in a higher level of care that I believe each and every patient deserves! I am excited to join the Wynkoop Dentistry team because of their commitment to the highest quality of care and treating our patients as well as we would our own families. The best part of my day is when a patient tells me that now they love coming to the dentist because of the kindness we have shown them. Being new to Colorado, you’ll find me and my husband, Mike, out exploring and trail running with our dog Frank whenever we get the chance!
