Dr. Tarjan is originally from Iran and moved to the United States with her family in 2000. She lived in Iowa for nine years, where she attended University of Iowa College of Dentistry after getting her Bachelors Degree in Psychology. She began her career practicing in Colorado Springs, gaining lots of experience in state-of-the-art restorative and cosmetic dentistry. In 2012, she moved to Denver, where she mainly cared for under-served children and families. She is now the owner of Icon Dental where she hopes to meet you and care for your smile! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, including her husband, Dan, and their Great Dane, Mini. She also enjoys cooking, traveling, painting, and spending time in the outdoors.

What are you proud of in your practice?

I started my practice from scratch in 2014 and have always believed if you treat people well they will help you grow. I have many patients who have been with me from the beginning and many more wonderful patients who have joined the practice since then. I'm very proud of my team for helping me take the best care of our patients as possible.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I enjoy treating smile designs which are long and extensive treatment plans, these patients go through such a huge life transformation during the process and it's a pleasure to be a part of. I also enjoy helping all patients in getting their oral health needs taken care of, from a filling to replacing teeth with implants.
