Dr. Yahnian completed his Bachelors of Arts degree in Chemistry with an emphasis in Mathematics and Biology in 1986 in Southern California. Graduate of the University of Colorado School of Dentistry. He has completed extensive research in microbiology concentrating on the nature of dental caries, presenting papers to the Rocky Mountain Microbiology Society and the Forsyth Institute. He was a team doctor for the CU football team in the 91 and 92 seasons. Go Buffs! Over the past 10 years Dr. Yahnian has been awarded the Certificate of Recognition from Delta Dental for “providing excellent preventive care and outstanding service to patients”. Also, was awarded the Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology certificate for Excellence in Radiology. He is a lifetime member of the Delta Sigma Delta dental fraternity. In addition to dentistry, Dr. Yahnian is also a professional photographer, whose work has been published in magazines and trade journals on 6 continents and is one of the hosts of a podcast serving the photographic and entertainment fields. Dr. Yahnian has been serving patients in the Denver metro area since 1992.

Dr. Yahnian was super helpful. I came in for a chipped tooth, and appreciated Capitol Premier Dental Group being able to accommodate me for an appointment so quickly, especially considering I'm a new patient. His hygienist got the X-rays done quickly and easily, my diagnosis and insurance options were clearly explained to me, and Dan gave me in-depth information about the cause of my chipped tooth, what they did to fix it, and some things I should keep an eye out for the future. Glad to have found a new dentist for the long haul!

Dr Yahnian was very friendly and knowledgeable he had a lot of insights and didn't push for expensive procedures or make any guilty comments about my teeth even though its been a few years since I've been to a dentist.
