Dr. Joshua Wyte graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in history from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts, attended UC San Diego for a Post Baccalaureate, then went on to complete his dental studies at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. After serving as an active duty dentist in the Coast Guard for five years, Dr. Wyte built a successful private practice in Loveland, Colorado. He spent four years at his practice in Loveland before moving to Denver and opening his current practice, Wyte Smiles. Wyte Smiles has been serving the greater Denver area for over three years now. Dr. Wyte also continues his military duty by serving as a dentist for the Colorado Air National Guard. Dr. Wyte believes that treatment should only be done when needed. He also believes that by being proactive, extensive future treatments can hopefully be avoided. In his spare time, Dr. Wyte enjoys skiing, playing tennis, biking, and car racing. Most of all, he loves spending time with his five-year-old daughter, Mia. He looks forward to getting to know you!

Reviewed on July 15th, 2021 • Verified patientX-rays and cleaning. I was not in pain but I knew I would need some work done since dental anxiety kept me away from dental office visits for 5years. They do an amazing job of explaining every step of the process and going in depth as to what treatment you need and why. They show you your x-rays as you go over your treatment plan. All my questions were answered and all staff are very nice and you feel they care about you. My cleaning was stress free because they let me gargle with numbing stuff so no pain and fast and easy yay! He and the entire office were the nicest and most efficient and professional office I've visited. I waited maybe 10 minutes in the lobby, and they offered numerous apologies for the "long delay." Once seated, they went right to work quickly. Everything was explained clearly with a thorough overview of options. I was in there for maybe 45 minutes with x-rays, repair and recementing of a crown and a referral. I've had flu shots take longer. From the moment I walked in and was greeted by the receptionist, to conversations of world travel with the hygienist, and my final checkup with Dr. Wyte, everyone did there part to make sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. I was warmly received by the nicest and most welcoming receptionist. She was so nice and immediately made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Which is very important to me because I am terrified of dentist offices. It was a short wait until I was received in the back and met Linda which was also very nice and very comforting since I was visually nervous. Then came in Dr. Joshua who from the start was bursting with professionalism, positivity and personality. He then proceeded to calm me down by explaining exactly what was going on with my teeth and what he was going to do to fix it and help me feel better. Within 45 minutes I was in my car and he had done a root canal!! I barely felt anything at all, which from past experiences was mind blowing. I was so pleased and surprised that he was done. I’ve never been happier to say I think I found my dentist. I’m going back for a crown and all my dental needs! Affordable pricing, great ambiance, welcoming staff and very understanding of my nervousness!
