Dr. Dennis J. Hong DDS

Dr Hong moved to the Bay Area as a young child and attended Union Middle School, Leigh High School and University of Santa Clara. He continued his dental education at the University of Southern California where he graduated in 1989 and returned to the Bay Area to begin his dental career. Dennis is a member in the Silicon Valley Study Group, the Santa Clara Dental Society, the California Dental Society and the American Dental Society. His aspirations for becoming a dentist began after spending many hours in the dental chair as a child. When he complained about the treatment, his mother would remark "if you think you can do better you should become a dentist". These experiences have formed his philosophy of dentistry; to care for the person as well as their teeth. You will experience his caring ways when you visit the office. Dennis and his wife, Heather live in Los Gatos with their two children Cami and Rylie, whose pictures are displayed prominently at the front desk. During his spare time, Dr. Hong enjoys woodworking, golf, gardening and transporting his children to their many activites.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

In this day when everyone seems to rushing from one task to the next, we take the time to review with each patient all their wants and needs so they can make wise choices for treatment which is best for their individual situation

What are you proud of in your practice?

The way patients feel when they leave our office. Our hope is that each and every patient leaves our office feeling truly heard and cared for.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I enjoy treating cases that make a difference to the patient. Some patients come in unwilling to smile due to the esthetic worries. Others come in having trouble eating. So whether it’s doing implants or crowns on all front teeth or replacing a couple of fillings, it’s a great feeling when someone comes in down about their oral situation and leave with a renewed outlook about their teeth and themselves.
