Dr. Hayley Patterson

Dr. Patterson always knew she wanted to be in healthcare, but it wasn’t until her freshman year of high school that her dentist encouraged her to look into dentistry. He allowed Dr. Patterson to shadow him at his practice, and she fell in love with the patient interaction and promotion of oral health that dentistry provides. Dr. Patterson worked as a dental assistant for three years after earning her undergraduate degree in biology from Azusa Pacific University, during which she acquired basic dental knowledge and skills while working at the Colorado Mission of Mercy. She went on to attend dental school at the University of Colorado. While there, she took part in the Rocky Mountain Dental Conference and served as the Colorado American Student Dental Association’s Alternate Delegate and Vice President, and she also attended the ASDA's National Leadership Conference and Annual Session multiple times. Her training also involved completing six three-week rotations at Federally Qualified Health Centers across Colorado through CU's Advanced Clinical Training Service Program. Always striving to improve herself, she frequently takes courses through Spear Education and is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
