Dr. Choi completed her undergraduate work at the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. In 1999, she received her DMD from the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. She finished her specialty degree in periodontics at St. Louis University in 2002. During her periodontal training, she worked as an associate professor for 2 years at SLU and received the first award for excellence in implant dentistry.
