Dr. Sikora's interest in dentistry goes as far back as her high school days, when she worked as a dental assistant in Dallas. She continued to pursue her passion while attending the University of Texas at Austin where she worked as a Pediatric Dental Assistant. After receiving her BBA in 1986, she went on to graduate school at the University of Texas at Houston's Dental Branch. Relocating to Chicago, Dr. Sikora completed her graduate residency at Loyola Medical Center in 1992. In 1993 Dr. Sikora opened her practice in The Chicago Board of Trade Building focusing on serving the needs of the downtown business community and others in the area. Since then, her business has grown steadily and she often refers to her dental practice as being like "her first born" - passing that personalized level of care along to her patients directly and also through her dedicated staff. Dr. Sikora may be a true Texan at heart, but has definitely found a home in Chicago. She lives in the city with her husband and children and when not practicing dentistry she enjoys reading, cycling, Bikram yoga and volunteering in various organizations.
