Dr. Robin L. Ferguson

Dr. Robin Ferguson graduated from Augustana College in Illinois with a B.A., and then earned her D.D.S. degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Recently she continued her studies with the world-renowned Misch International Implant Institute and Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies. Dr. Ferguson has been practicing dentistry in the Chicago area since 1989. For nine years she served on the staff of the University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics as clinical associate and an assistant professor for the general residency program at the Waiter G. Zoller Memorial Dental Clinic. Additionally she has shared her dental expertise beyond the United States. She made her first trip to Senegal, Africa in 1995 and lectured at a symposium on preventative dentistry for children. She also met with Nelson Mandela at his home, along with other government/medical authorities, on the overall health of children in South Africa. In 1997, she lectured on operative dentistry at the African American Summit in Zimbabwe and, more recently, in St Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. She is a member of the Chicago Dental Society, the Illinois Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the National Dental Association. Dr. Robin Ferguson has a staff that has followed her through most of her career. They are well trained and caring assistants that make our practice run smoothly and give our patients that extra boost of comfort and caring that is needed for new experiences. Through the past ten years, Dr. Ferguson and Dr. McCullom have practiced and held study clubs together. In 2003 Dr. Ferguson moved her practice to 87th Street with Drs. Cornell and Yetta McCullom. Dr. Ferguson lives In Flossmoor with her sons. She has had wonderful blessings and support from a large extended family in all of their endeavors. She looks forward to the holidays when her family gathers to share good food and fun. She also spends time with her sons in their favorite pursuits. The youngest loves his trains and tennis. She, along with her father, brother, and sister built him an N scale train set. Her oldest son loves competitive swimming and music. She also enjoys marathon running, biking, amateur bodybuilding and gardening.
