Rita Shah, DDS, of Modern Smiles in Chicago’s Lakeview area has practiced general dentistry for over a decade. She has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and received a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. Dr. Shah completed a general practice residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Her approach to dentistry is to bring fact-based, patient-centric, comprehensive, and compassionate care to her patients. Dr. Shah recognizes the importance of preventive dentistry and the importance of good dental health to the overall health of her patients. She effectively employs both traditional techniques and up-to-date technology to address a wide array of dental problems, including digital impression, Invisalign®, rotary endodontics, implants, dentures, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Shah is married and has two children. In her time away from her practice, she enjoys time with her family, binging on Netflix, drawing, food, and travel.
