Dr. Petar Tofovic

Friendly, dedicated, energetic and intuitive, Dr. Tofovic prides himself in addressing each patients unique concerns and needs. He partners with each patient to discuss and develop a custom treatment plan to satisfy their needs. Dr. Tofovic is passionate about developing a meaningful relationship and takes a personal interest in each patient. Having completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh Honors College, Dr. Tofovic went on to acquire his doctorate at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. His Undergraduate studies in Philosophy and Political Science drove Dr. Tofovic to acquire a Masters in Public Health while in Dental School. The General Practice Residency (GPR) Program at Illinois Masonic Medical Center brought him to Chicago where he has fallen in love with the city. Working in a hospital environment exposed Dr. Tofovic to a wide variety of challenges, including working with children, special needs, and medically compromised patients. Practicing dentistry since 2007, Dr. Tofovic puts great emphasis on continuing education and research based dentistry. Dr. Tofovic is an active member of The Chicago Dental Society, The American Dental Association and The Illinois State Dental Society. He is fluent in French, Macedonian, Serbian, and Croatian and is having fun learning Spanish. When he’s not flossing, Dr. Tofovic keeps himself busy with music, traveling, tennis, skiing, and delicious food.
