Dr. Katrina Baeverstad is delighted to be the proud new owner of In The Loop Dental since December 2020. Dr. Baeverstad resides in the Chicagoland area where she has practiced dentistry for over a decade and is thrilled to be a part of the In The Loop Dental family. Dr. Baeverstad attended St. Olaf College for her undergraduate degree where she received a BA in Religion in 2004. She then went on to attend the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2009. Upon graduation, Dr. Baeverstad was accepted into a residency program in general dentistry at Boston University School of Dental Medicine, with completion in 2010. She has been a member of the ADA, ISDS and CDS since 2010. In her spare time, Dr. Baeverstad is an active member of CARA (Chicago Area Runners Association) and is currently training for her sixth marathon in Berlin, Germany this fall. She enjoys being outdoors, cycling, traveling, reading and spending time with her family in Northern Michigan. She lives with her adopted greyhound Maisie, a retired racer, in the Lincoln Square neighborhood of Chicago.

Dr. Katrina Baeverstad's office was very clean and her staff was very well trained. I've avoided the dentist in the past because I grew up with poor dental hygiene habits and every time I've visited a dentist they were extremely rude and judgemental about it. I've been better as an adult, but not quite where I should be. In The Loop Dental was extremely professional and understanding about it, and in no way judged. They shared tips with how I can have healthier teeth and did a great job cleaning, couldn't ask for more!

Received a very thorough cleaning from Dr. B's office through Julie - she was great! The entire appt took about 1.5 hours - it did feel a little slow moving at times. Great goodie bag, comfortable atmosphere, and complimentary water, coffee, and tea.

The past 7 years I have had terrible experiences with my dentists. I felt like I was just another number and that they just cared about the money. The best dentist I ever had. Won't be going anywhere anytime soon the people are so kind and the service is amazing. Everyone works at a fast pace to make sure that you have the best service possible. They even had a goodie bag at the end and offered a fluoride treatment. Didn't have to worry about insurance or anything.
