Dr. Justin Welke

Dr. Justin is a Chicago-area born and raised pediatric dentist. He is a graduate of Northwestern University where he was an Evans Scholar and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. After Northwestern, Dr. Justin earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Following dental school, Dr. Justin obtained specialized training in pediatric dentistry through a full-time 2-year residency program affiliated with UIC Hospital. While at UIC, he was taught how to deliver specialized dental care to infants, children, and teenagers. Additionally, he has experienced hundreds of hours working with medically compromised and special-needs children. Dr. Justin has worked in several different environments delivering oral care to various populations and communities. He is fluent in Spanish and also volunteers treating Chicago’s most at-risk populations. Dr. Justin is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the highest level of distinction that a pediatric dentist can achieve. Additionally, he has the honor and distinction of being a Clinical Professor in the Post-Graduate Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago Hospital. When he’s not caring for kids’ teeth, Dr. Justin enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring Chicago, boxing, running, biking, and coaching youth basketball!
