Dr. Jane Kim

Dr. Jane Kim graduated from Northwestern University and University of Illinois. After graduating with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery, she continued education in a three-year residency program at the University of Illinois, specializing in the field of Periodontics. In addition to her specialty training, Dr. Kim also earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Oral Sciences. Today, she continues to serve as a clinical instructor at the University of Illinois’ College of Dentistry. Dr. Jane Kim limits her practice to surgical therapy including treatment of periodontal disease, gingival recession, cosmetic periodontal surgery, crown lengthening, dental extractions, and dental implant therapy. As a specialist, she partners with her restorative colleagues to provide comprehensive dental care to her patients. Dr. Kim firmly believes in a team approach to delivering individualized care and attention consistent with patient goals and desires. Born and raised in Chicago, Dr. Kim appreciates the genuine family-oriented, down-to-earth Midwest culture that is ingrained in all things Chicago. Outside of work, you can find Dr. Kim with her husband, three kids, and two dogs. In her free time, she loves to travel the world to run in their local races, fly south every winter to find better golfing weather and spend unbeatable family time with her little ones.
