Dr. Corina Radu

Corina received her DMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1999. Her orthodontic specialty training was completed in 2001 at the Children’s National Medical Center Hospital/George Washington University in Washington, DC. Born, raised and college educated in Europe-Romania, Corina won a diversity visa lottery in 1995 and with it the right to legally immigrate to the US. She served her new country as a dentist and captain in the US Army Reserves from 2001-2004. Dr. Corina Radu’s professional affiliations include the American Association of Orthodontists, Midwestern Society of Orthodontists and Illinois Society of Orthodontists. She achieved the highest distinction of Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics in 2002 and recertified in 2012 till 2022. She is a Certified Provider for Invisalign®, Invisalign Teen and Clear Correct. An open-minded clinician, committed to providing outstanding service for her patients and always incorporating new and refining techniques, she attends numerous orthodontic education courses, and limits her practice to orthodontics exclusively. She enjoys treating complex interdisciplinary cases such as combined orthodontics with jaw surgery and “Wilckodontics” (periodontally accelerated orthodontics), and incorporates routinely laser procedures and mini-implants that facilitate faster and more predictable orthodontic treatment results.
