I am Dr. Shah and I am the principle dentist at Dental Smiles of West Loop. I hope to welcome you to our practice, however, please allow me to introduce myself. I live in the vibrant city of Chicago with my husband and two kids. Since I graduated from Dental school I always envisioned starting up my own practice. In 2007 I was able to do this in the heart of Chicago when we opened Dental Smiles of West Loop. I truly believe our practice embodies the advancements dentistry has been able to make in the last couple of years. I graduated from the prestigious University of Pittsburg School of Dental Medicine and have since worked in New York City and Chicago. Finishing dental school didn't mean I stopped learning. I really try to stay in touch with the latest developments in techniques and technology so I can serve our patients better. I have participated in numerous continuous education courses in orthodontics, endodontics and other specialties. When I am not at work, I enjoy yoga, walking by North Ave. Beach, architecture, traveling and food.
Dr. Shah and the rest of the staff are honestly great and I would recommend them to any of my friends or family. Dr. Shah is always thoughtful of my tolerance and her work is nothing less of amazing. I've had plenty of work done here, yet I never feel like I'm being pushed or taken advantage of at her office, like some other horror stories I've heard in different offices. The space is quite nice; they offer massage chairs, aromatherapy, and TV while you have your appointment- what more could you want? If you're in the market for a new dentist, don't skip out on Dental Smiles of West Loop!!

Great dentist visit! This was my first time visiting as I am new to the West Loop, but everything went as expected and Dr. Shah and her assistant were very friendly throughout the visit.

I love the environment. Super clean, and comfortable. I love the massaging chairs and Netflix for you to watch while there. I am a person who has a low tolerance for pain and Dr. Ankita is so good, that I could go to sleep in the chair.

This was the most comprehensive dental exam I've ever had. Dr. Shah was great and explained everything she was doing along the way. Gladys is also amazing and both are so nice and friendly. Aside from the great cleaning, the perks of the massage chair and being able to watch Seinfeld during were awesome.

I was so impressed with Dr. Ankita. I brought my very nervous 4 year old in to see Dr. Ankita. The space is brand spanking new and very clean which is a check right off the bat. The dentist was so patient, thorough and calming. Totally great! She put my mind and my kid's mind at ease. And the cool chair and the cartoons didn't hurt either! Overall
