Dr. Pooran Ghai graduated with honours from the University of Manitoba Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Program in 2007. During her training, she was active in community outreach programs in central and northern Manitoba and received the highest standing awards in Prosthodontics and Periodontics. After graduation, she worked with Health Canada for five years and provided comprehensive dental care to the First Nations and Inuit population in Thompson, Manitoba. Prior to her dental degree, she completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with a double major in Biology and Biochemistry. Dr. Ghai moved to Ontario in 2012 and is now dedicated to providing outstanding, compassionate and skilled care at Derry Village Dental Clinic. Dr. Ghai is an active member of Canadian Dental Association, Manitoba Dental Association, Ontario Dental association, Halton peel Dental Association and International Association of Orthodontics. She is currently licensed with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. She has built her clinical expertise to a high level with the successful completion of many continuing education courses. When Dr. Ghai is not caring for patients, she enjoys travelling, interior decorating, fashion design, reading and listening to music.
