Dr. Alex Shin

Dr. Shin was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. He studied at the University of San Francisco in San Francisco, California, earning his bachelor’s degree in biology. After graduation, Dr. Shin obtained his master’s degree in biomedical sciences from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. Dr. Shin completed his professional training at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, School of Dental Medicine. He completed a four-year dental program there, earning his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry. At Rainier Dental, Dr. Shin provides a full suite of dental services, including oral exams, digital X-rays, gum disease therapy, and fillings. He has a passion for all things dentistry, and it comes through in his work and unique treatment approach. Rather than seeing as many patients as possible, Dr. Shin works to ensure the best oral and general health for each individual. Dr. Shin is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association and the Washington State Dental Association. He enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with his wife when he isn’t at work. Dr. Shin is also an avid reader who loves a good book.
