About
Before becoming a dentist, Maureen earned a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Education degrees and taught secondary school for two years. She then returned to university, graduating from the University of Western Ontario’s Dental Program. Maureen was a faculty member at St. Clair College Faculties of Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting. She is a past President of the York Region Dental Society and served as a Governor and Committee Member of the Ontario Dental Association. She has experience in a wide range of preventative, endodontic, restorative and cosmetic procedures. Maureen has pursued significant additional training, in Canada and the U.S., studying recent advances in endodontics, snoring appliances and dental implants. Like Dr. Gautham, her experience with children goes beyond the dental chair, as she is the mother of 2 teenagers; Ciana and Kailyn.
