Dr. Kenyu Takamoto

With passion and a commitment to excellence with his general and specialist backgrounds, Dr. Takamoto practices general dentistry in Bellevue. He is also a clinical instructor at the University of Washington. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Taiwan, Orthodontic Certificate from Japan, and Oral Medicine Master's Degree from the University of Washington. He holds three dental licenses (Taiwan, Japan and WA. USA.) Accordingly, he speaks Chinese, Japanese and English as well. Dr. Takamoto's enthusiasm can be evidenced by awarding twice finalists and winning the 1st place of the Invisalign case competition in North America, which were extremely competitive voted from more than three hundred submitted cases. Dr. Takamoto is also a calligraphic artist. The unique view of dentistry and art makes him see the peculiar depth of beauty and health. The benefits of the connection between dentistry and art have been admired by patients. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Seattle King County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentists, American Association of Orthodontists, American Academy of Oral Medicine, and Japanese Orthodontic Society.
