Dr. Levi Shirley is a native of Texas who moved to Aurora in the fall of 2005. His college career began at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, in 1994. After taking a two-year sabbatical from college to serve a church mission in Chile, he returned to BYU and graduated in 1999 with a degree in zoology. He received his doctorate of dental surgery from The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 2003. Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Shirley spent two years honing his professional skills in the National Health Service Corps. He separated from the NHSC in 2005 in order to start his own dental practice in Aurora, Missouri. Dr. Shirley is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Missouri Dental Association, and the Greater Springfield Dental Society. Dr. Shirley has a genuine passion for dentistry. He understands how dental disease and orofacial problems can affect one's overall health and well-being. His attention to detail and concern for the individual is evident in the quality of his work. Dr. Shirley constantly strives to help patients learn to love and appreciate their smiles. Dr. Shirley married his beautiful wife, Amber, in 1998. They are the proud parents of five very energetic children. Family activities center around church, school, sports, and the outdoors.
