Simple Standard practice. Doesn't need to upsell you. Easy process.

For my very first visit, it was a good. Dr. Chan was nice, informative, and explained what needed to be done. First time after leaving my former dentist of 20+ years was hard, but I think Dr. Chan will be a great new dentist once I get to know him more and see his work.

Had my initial appointment and everything went smoothly. The dentist addressed my concerns and helped me come up with a plan. For how to care for my teeth.

I had a great experience getting my teeth cleaned. The doctor and his assistant were both professional and gave me helpful advice for my teeth grinding.

Got in and out quickly but carefully. Excited to start seeing Dr. Chan regularly!

Front staff were kind & welcoming. Dentist was extremely thorough and informative. I appreciated that they make patients wash their hands before sitting in the chair.

I really liked Dr. Chan for thoroughly explaining the plan and being willing to help me understand what I need done. I look forward to continuing my care here and a healthier and sustaining my confidence to smile.

Friendly and doesn’t make you wait.

I was able to get good Q&A experience about my dental health and what to lookout for, but you have to come in with your own set of questions.

Dr. Chan really took the time to explain what he was doing and what he was seeing in my teeth. He was very patient and answered all of my questions. The only downside is that he's out of network for me, so the Invisalign prices his office quoted were higher than expected.

Dr. Chan was knowledgeable and understood my concerns. After he completed my exam we found that only minor work was needed. I had previously seen another dentist in Oakland who though I needed to have more work done. I'm glad I came to see Dr. Chan as the second opinion proved to be worth it. I'd recommend coming to see Dr. Chan if your looking for a new dentist or just want a second opinion on dental work that may be needed.

Every person I dealt with was extremely friendly and attentive. They were perfectly on time. They constantly checked to ensure I was comfortable, paid close attention to my concerns, and had already worked with my insurance to determine all coverage.

It was super simple to to get an appointment setup with Dr. Steven Chan and to get my introduction and cleaning done. I do appreciate his holistic approach and willingness to explain everything he was doing and why. And he was good to answer any concerns and question I had. Would go again, and in fact already booked my follow up cleaning with him and his team.

Very friendly staff

During my visit, the dentist (who was filling in for Dr. Chen) was prompt, courteous, and was conservative with recommending expensive treatments (unlike every other dentist I have ever been to). It turns out that 2 of the 3 crowns that my last dentist was recommending was not necessary. Finally, the 1 crown that I am going to get is going to cost half of what my dentist in Austin, TX was going to charge me, in the bay area!

Very kind and thorough service. Everyone was super friendly. Highly recommend Dr. Chan.
