I find that the staff/Doctors are great and know what they are doing...the problem is the patients....i once stood in line to check in behind one other person, and about 8 that came after me waltzed in front of me. People show up with their entire family at once, and stand there booking 18 different appointments for various things...(this may explain some of the wait time on hold!) I could not imagine having to work in a Dr's office these days....everyone thinks they are the only important person in there, heaven's forbid you wait a few minutes after your scheduled appointment time.
The service is terrible - impossible to book appointments without extrememly long (more than 30 minutes) on hold. Tests performed 3 weeks ago - no follow up phone call to tell me what the results were. If this is the new style of health care in this province, it is not acceptable. I really miss the accessibility and approachability of my now retired GP. What good are nice facilities and competent doctors if you can't reach them?
