Hi, I am Dr. Anand Iyer and I look forward to welcoming you to CityView Dental. Let me first introduce myself. I recently moved back to Toronto with my wife from Dublin Ireland, where I worked in private practice. I graduated from UCC Cork, Ireland, with a first class honours, the highest mark in the country of that year.
Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?
I have a keen interest in preventative dentistry and spend the extra time explaining how to achieve optimal oral health. I believe this is the cornerstone of our profession and as such go on outreach projects to help educate. Recently I travelled to Ghana, Africa to assess, educate and treat emergencies in the most underprivileged areas. I consider myself a world traveller and take a lot of those experiences from Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East to help better understand and treat my patients.

Restoring dental caries and anterior aesthetic composite bonding Non carious tooth wear Fixed prosthodontics (crowns, bridges, veneers)
What are you proud of in your practice?
As a clinician I like to keep on top of the latest techniques, invest in better and innovative materials to improve patient health and satisfaction. I also think education is key, and helping patients really understand their health is the first best step to prevention of disease. I am very proud of our team and efficiency. This benefits our patient’s greatly, most of whom have busy schedules. As mentioned previously, we have all of the best equipment, and materials to best improve our patient’s satisfaction.
Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
I like the variety that general dentistry provides. I very much enjoy the challenge of anterior esthetic cases involving crowns and veneers. I have a keen interest in tooth wear cases and have had a lot of experience with it. Finally composite restorations to treat dental decay or aesthetic enhancement. These new age materials are strong, conservative and very versatile in their applications.

He made me feel at ease and I usually have high anxiety in Dentists office. I wouldn't mind going back to him in the future. Also this was the first time a dental office did not push other services ( deep cleaning etc) on to me. And this was the first time that I did not have to wait to see the Dentist. They had everything ready to go the moment I walked in.
