Angelika has extensive experience in the health care field. Since 2001 she has worked as a Physiotherapist Assistant. She has helped design programs for patients including after care exercise programs utilizing various modalities to help her clients reach their wellness goals. Angelika’s passion is applying the fundamental principles of Osteopathy founded by Dr. Still.

Angelika begins by performing a thorough Orthopaedic, Neurological, and Osteopathic structural examination of the whole body. She looks for asymmetries and restrictions in the body and tissue texture changes. She believes an important part of the diagnostic process is listening to her patients expressing their perspective on their experience. She then utilizes her training as an Osteopath to determine ows her to find the root cause of the dysfunction. Once the assessment is completed she incorporates various techniques including: Oscillations, Muscle Energy, Respiratory Assistance, Articulation, OCG, Strain Counter Strain, Facilitated Positional Release, Functional technique, Cranial, Drainage, and Visceral manipulation all into the Body Adjustment John Wernham developed in Classical Osteopathy.

After each treatment Angelika informs her patients on positive after care exercises to help them achieve their wellness goals. Her treatments are guided by the principles of Osteopathy:
1. The body is a dynamic unit of function
2. The body is self-healing, self-repairing, self-regulating, and self-defending
3. Structure or anatomy and function or physiology are reciprocally interrelated
4. Rational diagnosis and treatment will consider or is based on the previous three principles

Favorite Quote; Thomas Edison said “The doctors of the future will give no medicine but will interest their patients in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease.”
