Acupuncture at Primal Human Performance

As a physiotherapist, Dev has expanded his clinical arsenal by completing numerous post-graduate continuing education courses and seminars including specialized training in advanced manual therapy and exercise. He is fully credentialed in Active Release Techniques (ART®), educated in myofascial and muscle mobilization, and is certified in medical acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute.

In addition to his training as a physiotherapist, Dev is further recognized by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and holds over a decade of experience in health and fitness. His clients have included high performance, professional athletes, weekend warriors and everyone in between.

Dev’s unique background grants him the ability to unite distinct rehabilitation and performance objectives together. This allows integration of various treatment techniques to address issues such as pain, immobility, instability, weakness, de-conditioning, injuries (sports, trauma, low back pain, sprains/strains etc) and other forms of movement dysfunctions, while still improving general fitness and athletic performance.

Dev ensures that every client is educated on the components of complete health and wellness and its vital role in the return to optimal function and total performance. With their acquired insight, Dev’s clients are empowered to understand their situation, set realistic goals and then work towards realizing their true potential.

Dev is passionate about health and fitness and endeavors to share that passion with those around him. Dev’s clientele has included professional athletes from Olympic Gold Medalists, to athletes in the NHL, AHL, MLB, Ironman Triathlons, along with CEOs and executives with multi-national corporations. He has also worked with numerous high-level youth athletes (e.g. OFSAA champions) and emergency service personnel (police, fire, and military) each having specialized performance and rehabilitation requirements. His vast clinical experience allows him to create optimal training and therapy programs for all of his clients.

While working with Dev, you can expect top-level care directed towards optimal health, ultimate performance and exceptional results.
